Sophie Ndaba Opens Edgars Fashion Extravaganza
Award-winning South African actress, Sophie Ndaba famous for her role as Queen Moroka in the soap, Generations, has jetted into the country to open the Edgars Stores annual Fashion Extravaganza promotion.

Speaking at a media briefing at the Holiday Inn Hotel on Thursday morning, Ndaba said, “I am delighted to be back home after so long and be part of this amazing fashion extravaganza.”

“Fashion is a life changing experience. It brings respect to the way you look. It’s a way of therapy. If you know you look good no matter how dull a day you might be having it makes you gain that extra confidence,” revealed Sophie.

Speaking on what Edgars customers can expect from Ndaba, Edgars Stores marketing executive, Rumbidzai Dzimba said, “Customers can look forward to meeting her, getting her autograph, taking selfies and interacting with her in stores in Harare, Gweru and Bulawayo.

“VIP customers also have the opportunity to raise a glass with Sophie in a glamorous VIP cocktail to be held in Bulawayo on Friday September 18 alongside the who’s who of the local fashion industry.”

Ndaba, whose a mother of three, her first born daughter, Rudo, being 25 years old, grew up at a children’s home in Eastlea, Harare and her return to Zimbabwe has aroused emotions within her to partner with other companies in the country to do some philanthropist work.

“For the past five years I have partnered with South African companies through my Sophie Ndaba Foundation of Hope, and I hope to be able to partner with Zimbabwean companies to do the same,” said Ndaba.

Sophie’s tour programme will be as follows:
